Important Changes effective from Fall 2009: Some course numbers have changed from Fall 2009. A table linking old course numbers with new course numbers is provided for your convenience. Click here for the table in pdf format.  Lectures and labs are given separate course numbers and earn separate grades. Most courses require you to register lecture and lab together. For example, the previous 5 credit  Chem 113 course is replaced with chem 113.4 (4 credit lecture) and chem 113.1 (1 credit lab). You choose any chem 113.4 with any chem 113.1 that fits your schedule. The department's schedule pairs lectures and recitation with labs to make it easier to choose your sections.
