Queens College presents a number of exciting opportunities to academically accomplished individuals. We’re the only CUNY institution in the borough participating in the Macaulay Honors College, which supports gifted students with full tuition and other benefits. In addition, QC has its own multidisciplinary Freshman Honors Program and divisional honors programs in the humanities, math and natural sciences, and social sciences. Outstanding high school seniors may apply to become Queens College Scholars. Prospective math teachers may qualify for scholarships and other incentives through QC’s innovative math education program, TIME 2000. Business and Liberal Arts, another QC initiative, familiarizes students with basic business disciplines; it’s designed for top-performing underclassmen, regardless of their major. QC has a Transfer Honors Program with scholarships exclusively for transfer students who have earned at least 45 credits towards their AA or AS degree. Information on these and other opportunities can be found through the Office of Honors and Scholarships.
Queens College offers the best of CUNY - Honors offers the best of Queens.

As a top student, you have a choice of colleges and want to make sure that you receive the highest quality education possible. The Princeton Review recently placed Queens College as the eighth best value in the nation for consistently offering the highest quality education at the most reasonable cost.  Honors Programs are central to the Queens College tradition of value and excellence. Honors enhances your education by providing opportunities for faculty mentorship, advanced research or other individualized projects. Honors at Queens creates a community of learners on campus in which students enjoy classes that are small in size and emphasize discussion and projects over lecture. At the same time, honors students have full access to the many resources that a diverse student body and campus like Queens can provide.

Everyone has a photographic memory ... some just don't have the film.
