Costume Shop
Conveniently located just off the scene shop and adjacent to the dressing rooms, our costume shop is fully equipped with sewing machines, sergers, dress forms, dye vats, ironing and steaming facilities, laundry facilities, and a large cutting table which doubles as both a work space and a teaching area for the costume design and costume construction classes. The costumes for all Department of Drama, Theatre & Dance productions are built, altered, and maintained in the costume shop by a combination of our faculty costume designer, students, and guest artists. Its large windows provide plenty of natural light for ideal working conditions. The costume shop will be undergoing a complete renovation beginning in the fall of 2010.
