• The Elizabeth Pines Ergas Prize for post-modern fiction.
• The Neal Feld Memorial Writing Prize, to a junior English major, for excellence in writing fiction and/or poetry.
• The Harry Glick Prize for short fiction.
• The Robert Greenburg Memorial Prize for best performance by a student in the English Honors Program.
• The Clinton Oliver Memorial Prize for the single best work – scholarly, critical, and/or creative – that relates to the African-American experience.
• Composition Prizes for work done in English 110 and/or 120.
• The Hapless Orphan Prize for the best essay on early American literature
