I am an attorney who has been practicing law in the State of New York for almost 40 years. While the practice is general in nature (e.g., contracts, leases, real estate, trusts and estates, business law, personal injury) the primary focus is on litigation in state and federal courts. I am the author of the Supplemental Guide to the Uniform Commercial Code and member of the American Bar Association's Committee on Business Law. I teach Business Law 3 and Advanced Law 752 with emphasis on practical solutions to common problem situations involving e commerce and the purchase or lease of goods and problems associated with personal checks, money orders, Notes and electronic fund transfers. The course invites the student to analyze a set of facts, identify pertinent issues and apply the law(s) to arrive at a fair and just conclusion. The course is designed to entertain and educate with the use of real New York case situations.
