After receiving my MBA, I went into public accounting performing certified audits, financial statement analysis, tax compliance, and managerial advisory services. Prior to my career in accounting I was involved in healthcare administration and the development of numerous business entities in the publishing and diagnostic healthcare industries. I started teaching at Queens College in 1996 on a part-time basis. Currently I am a full time lecturer, teaching Principles of Accounting, Taxation and Auditing. In addition I am the Department’s Internship Advisor. I bring practical experience in all areas of study to the classroom. In almost every session I spend some portion of the lecture discussing real world applications. By the time you complete one of my sections you will have a good understanding of the accounting industry.
