Wednesday, February 20, 2013 - APA Workshop
Drs. Claudia Perry and Ping Li
A Curriculum Space on APA Style on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 will be held from 5:45pm to 7:15pm in the Rosenthal Library, 5th floor, President's Conference Room #2. This introduction to APA Style, with an emphasis on citations and references, is especially important for students in 701 or for those in required core courses who have no previous experience with the 6th edition of the APA Style Manual. Although held on a Wednesday, classes will be following a Monday schedule, so we hope that 702 and 703 students with classes those days attend.
All classes starting at 3:55 will end early (just before 5:45pm), and 6:40pm classes will start late (7:15pm), so that all interested students and faculty can attend. Curriculum Spaces are offered four times a semester, one each on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, to allow us to offer special events outside of regularly scheduled classes.
We are also very pleased that Mr. John Troyanski of the Writing Center will be speaking about services offered by the QC Writing Center, and the importance of good writing.
We hope to see you there.
