World Languages Education

The World Languages Education Program at Queens College has programs to meet the needs of a variety of candidates.  We have programs for undergraduates, post-bacs and career changers, certified teachers needing professional certification and post masters courses and programs for continued professional development.

We offer certification 7-12 in Spanish, French, Chinese, Latin and Italian.

Our New MAT in Critical Languages certifies 7-12 in Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, Russian, and Korean. This program prepares you for initial certification and continues for the MAT degree and eligibility for professional certification.

Certified teachers can also take courses in Articulated Curriculum Design for World Languages and Action Research courses for salary differentials and professional development. These courses are available for matriculated and non-matriculated students.
