Cultural Introduction to Italy
Conducted in English
The study of the culture of Italy helps the student to acquire a deep awareness of both the cultural unity and diversity of the people of Italy. Majors themes of Italian culture and thought are presented in historical context and brought to life through guided tours and visits to churches, synagogues, museums, and palaces as well as other significant sites that are key to understanding present-day Italy.
Classes are scheduled Monday to Friday
Travel during class time is strictly prohibited.

Programs are open to all undergraduate students from all CUNY campuses (unless restricted by level of study, language fluency, or other program criteria). Travel on Fridays and some Saturdays for some programs.
