Madrid: Spanish Language and Culture

                 Conducted in English

The lively Spanish capital will provide the perfect backdrop of museums, culture, and history to enhance everyone’s experience in this course. Madrid is of great cultural and political importance, and students will enjoy living in a place of both modern and historic relevance. Since the city is centrally located for many exciting day trips, participants will never run out of interesting things and beautiful places to explore.

Program Costs


Cost (includes all expenses below except airfare): $3627 


CUNY tuition (for in-state, matriculated undergraduates): $920


Travel insurance: $37


Consolidated fee (housing, excursions, Madrid Cultural Program and most meals): $2670


Total cost with airfare: $4627 


Airfare:  $1000 (estimate)


Additional costs:


Minimum budget for meals and personal expenses of $20 to $25 per day (approximately $600)


Application Deadline: April 8, 2013


Programs are open to all undergraduate students from all CUNY campuses (unless restricted by level of study, language fluency, or other program criteria). Travel on Fridays and some Saturdays for some programs.
