Sports Management

This course gives students a comprehensive view of the procedures and operation of professional sports, collegiate athletics, and recreational organizations and enterprises. The course examines skills and processes such as budgeting, marketing, event staging, and fund-raising that are necessary for the successful administration of these organizations. The interrelationship between these skills and administrative goals and objectives is studied.

Programs are open to all undergraduate students from all CUNY campuses (unless restricted by level of study, language fluency or other program criteria). Travel on Fridays and some Saturdays for some programs.
