Sports Marketing

This course
provides an understanding of the role of marketing within sports—both amateur
and professional—and is designed to address current industry requirements. Classes cover the essentials of effective sports marketing, including application of the
marketing principles in the sports area (sports products as well as sports
services); licensing issues; sponsorships and endorsements (their evaluation
and implementation); stadium and arena marketing; promotional activities;
consumer and public relations; and broadcasting and the media.

Programs are open to all undergraduate students from all CUNY campuses (unless restricted by level of study, language fluency, or other program criteria). Travel on Fridays and some Saturdays for some programs.
