September 30 is the deadline for submitting an application for the College Board Advocacy and Policy Center's 2011 Innovation Awards Program.

Innovation Awards recognize innovation and demonstrated efficacy in helping students from low-income backgrounds get ready for, get into, or get through college successfully.  Winners receive a $5,000 award to expand or sustain their program, and obtain recognition through the College Board's website, newsletter, and other outreach modes.
