​The Department of Mathematics of Queens College of the City University of New York invites applications for a full-time position at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning in the Fall 2018. Duties of this position include teaching undergraduate and master's level courses in mathematics and statistics; establishing a record of research and scholarship via peer-reviewed publication; serving on departmental and college-wide committees; working cooperatively with colleagues, and mentoring students.  The successful candidate must be committed to teaching a diverse student body.

​Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in either Mathematics or Statistics by June 1, 2018. They must provide significant evidence of scholarly promise and achievement as well as excellent teaching credentials.  Demonstrated potential for superior achievement in interdisciplinary research is desired. Post-doctoral experience is preferred, but not required.
