  Job Title: IT Academic Technology Coordinator- SEEK

  Location: Queens College

​The SEEK Learning and Academic Technology Coordinator provides program support to Queens College’s SEEK Program activities helping students, faculty and staff secure technological, and learning resources. Reporting directly to the Academic SEEK Program Director, responsibilities and duties include supporting the SEEK Student Centers operations, Counseling Unit and Academic staff of the program.
Along with the CUNY Title Overview, the successful candidate will perform the following tasks/ duties:

• Assists the Program Director in the analysis of collected data and reports as it pertains to the program.
• Implements and maintains technology policies and procedures.
• Maintains accurate, complete and up-to-date inventory records of all equipment, including audiovisual, computers and printers for the program
• Facilitates tech workshops for students and staff during the semester and in the summer.
• Participates in all program planning meetings and assists with special projects, workshops and events.


Provides support to students and faculty in the use of instructional systems, software, and programs.

- Researches and prepares program materials, FAQs, and user guides

- Provides telephone and/or email support for faculty and student users of instructional systems, software, and programs

- Develops training materials and delivers orientation/training sessions

- Maintains on-line information on web sites

- Acts as liaison to related areas such as CUNY's Computer and Information Services area, to evaluate and escalate reported problems, and disseminate information notices

- Assists faculty with use of instructional technology to support educational goals

- Performs other duties as assigned.


​Bachelor's Degree required.


​Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related preferred.
Two years’ experience in Higher Education and with technology
Experience working with diverse populations


​Salary commensurate with education and experience.
