I
was the original lunchroom and student union. It now houses the Office
of Converging Techonologies and computer labs. The Office of Information
Technology provides a full range of academic and administrative computing,
and multimedia support to the college community. OCT support areas include
operation of the college's computer laboratories and classrooms; design
and maintenance of the campus-wide computing infrastructure; maintenance
of the college's websites; delivery and presentation of media materials
for classroom instruction; and coordination of satellite teleconferences.
In addition, OCT operates the interactive video classroom affiliated with
CUNY's Distance Learning/Media Distribution Project. OCT offices are located
in I Building and Kiely Hall, with user facilities in I Building, the
Dining Hall Building, the Science Building, Kiely Hall, Powdermaker Hall,
and Rosenthal Library. |
