You can get help using the wireless network in several ways;
You can visit the OCT Help Desk located on the first floor in the
I building.
You can send an email to the Wireless
Support Desk. We try to answer all emails within in 48 hours. When sending a help request please include the following;
Operating System, Hardware Platform, Type of wireless card being used, current service pack level.
If you are reporting a weak signal on campus, provide the above information and the location and time of day that you had a weak signal.
You can use the new Wireless Knowledge Base. To use the Knowledge
Base click on the Support button. A new window will open up. You
can ask the Knowledge base a plain English question or use keywords.
The Knowledge Base is always growing new questions and answers are
being added all the time. If you would like add to the Knowledge
Base just send an email the the Wireless Support Desk.
We have delayed the requirement for encryption on the wireless network.
