Professional & Continuing Studies (PCS) at Queens College offers unique academic and international educational programs, technology training, and professional development opportunities. Options range from specialized classes within the English Language Institute (ELI) and membership in the Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI), to project management, health care career training, ABA-approved paralegal studies certificates, and the Queens College Networking Academy.
The English Language Institute (ELI), the oldest program of its kind in the CUNY system, has helped students improve their command of the English language for over 60 years.
The Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI) offers a diverse repertoire of stimulating educational and cultural opportunities for adults who are interested in learning simply for the joy of learning. Through these activities, the institute has enriched the well-being of its members and begun to develop unique intergenerational links with other students at the college in an effort to foster a greater understanding of participants' histories and lives.
Through its Office of Corporate Training, PCS can assist you in providing various training options for your employees, including creating customized programs to fit your unique needs and specifications.

CFA EXAM PREP Courses in Partnership with the NYSSA
The Chartered Financial Analyst ® (CFA) Program is a globally recognized standard for measuring portfolio management and investment analysis competence and integrity that is administered by the CFA Institute. NYSSA has been providing CFA ® review courses for 30 years.
Three CFA ® Live Review courses will be offered:
1) A 17-week, three-hour Wednesday evening CFA® Level I Weekly Review
2) A 11-week, four-and-a-half-hour Sunday CFA® Level I Condensed Review
3) A 11-week, four-and-a-half-hour Sunday CFA® Level II Condensed Review

Credit Risk Management Certificate Program
The Queens College Graduate Program in Risk Management in partnership with Queens College Professional & Continuing Studies presents a NEW Certificate Program in Credit Risk Management
This comprehensive certificate program will help you build competencies in ratio analysis, forecasting, company valuation, and in preparing “pro forma” financials to reflect economic reality. Students will work in teams to analyze competitor company pairs and deliver mock investor presentations and gain an understanding of credit risk management, including risk measurement, credit risk mitigation tool, and distribution of credit risk including structured products. Contemporary events in the news will be incorporated into each lecture.
