The Office of Career Development and Internships invites

ELIGIBLE STUDENTS to participate in our

2016-2017 Recruitment & Referral Program

 

Program Requirements:       


Currently enrolled accounting majors graduating with a BA with 150 Credits or a master’s degree in September 2016, December 2016 and May 2017 are eligible*.

(All positions require students to pursue their New York State CPA Certification after graduation.)

 

*You are ELIGIBLE to participate only ONCE in this program. (Students and alumni are not able to participate a second time due to date of graduation changes, etc.) Please call the office for clarification.

 

Attendance at the following Orientation Workshop is REQUIRED for participation (no exceptions).

This is a deadline-oriented program which requires students to comply with program guidelines.

 

ORIENTATION TO RECRUITMENT WORKSHOP (Select ONE session to attend)

1.     Monday August 29 (12:15-1:30 pm)

-Kiely Hall #170: Accounting Majors

 

2.     Wednesday, August 31 (12:15-1:30 pm)

-Kiely Hall #170: Accounting Majors

 

3.     Tuesday, August 30 (6:30-7:30 pm)

-Kiely Hall #250: Accounting Majors

 

4.     Late afternoon workshops: August 29, August 31 or September 7 (3-4 pm) - Virginia Frese Hall #211

 

Additional required workshops: Resume Writing, Job Interview, Career Success in the Workplace

Resume Submission Deadlines: September 19 for accounting resumes (employer posting deadlines are early this year!)
