The Queens College faculty consists of top scholars who are dedicated to teaching and research and enjoy working in a diverse urban environment. Many are fairly new to campus; half were hired between 2002 and 2008. We have 637 full-time professors, almost 90 percent of whom have the terminal degree in their field (not all fields offer doctorates); 64 percent have tenure.
