Diane Coogan is a Distinguished Lecturer of Economics and Associate Dean of Social Sciences. Ms. Coogan began her career over 20 years ago at the World Bank in its Research and Policy division. She then held increasingly senior positions in AT&T’s forecasting and strategy group, and at PricewaterhouseCoopers directing corporate finance and risk management engagements. Ms. Coogan was Managing Director at Swiss Re Financial Services Corp. and was a portfolio manager for a private equity hedge fund and public equity hedge fund both dedicated to financial services. Ms. Coogan has served as a member of Standard & Poor’s Insurance Advisory Council, served as a Director of a privately held insurance company, and has published on topics of risk and investment performance. Ms. Coogan holds her Ph.D. in economics from Boston University.
