Luc Marest is an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Economics at Queens College, City University of New York. He also teaches courses on investment analysis and corporate finance. His research interests include monetary theory, business cycle theory, capital theory, and international finance and macroeconomics. Mr. Marest’s career started in France at Bouygues, one of the world’s largest construction companies where he was responsible for assessing sources of risk. After having graduated from Yale School of Management, he worked on the NYSE for Worldco, LLC. Mr. Marest holds a Masters degree in civil engineering from L’Ecole Speciale des Travaux Publics, Paris, France, and an MBA from the Yale School of Management. He is currently a student in the Ph.D. program of the Department of Economics at the City University of New York, the Graduate Center.
