New or Continuing - in a Special Program (Honors College, SEEK, Teacher Academy)

Entering Freshmen: URGENT - Please follow carefully all instructions and deadline information emailed to you from Admissions about the documentation and process required to determine your economic eligibility for the SEEK program at QC. 

If you or your family receives funding through the Department of Social Services / Human Resources Administration, you will also need to print and follow instructions on the SEEK Agency Form - also on our FORMS page.

This is needed to meet the one-time requirement to document your economic eligibility for the program.

All Seek Students: The one-time economic eligibility verification for the program is separate from the annual applications to receive funding under the SEEK program and other financial aid programs.  You should file the  new year's FAFSA and TAP each year early in the Spring for the coming academic year.

Entering Freshmen: Follow all instructions sent by Admissions AND the QC and CUNY Honors College Program offices about requirements, procedures and deadlines.  One of the requirements include annual filing of both FAFSA and TAP applications prior to a specified date, regardless of your interest in federal or NYS aid.

All Honors College Students - File the new year's FAFSA and TAP applications early in the Spring for the coming academic year.  Do not wait until the program deadlines.  This is a program requirement and affects continued program eligibility and payment eligibility.

All Teacher Academy Students - Follow all instructions from the QC Teacher Academy Office. File the new year's FAFSA and TAP applications early in the Spring for the coming academic year, regardless of your eligibility for Federal or NYS financial aid.  This is a program requirement and affects both program eligibility and payment eligibility.
