Federal Perkins Loans Exit Counseling

Perkins Loan borrowers who drop below 6 credits are required to complete a Perkins Loan exit interview, and will receive a letter with the PIN and other instructions when the interview is available on the web.

Visit the website for the exit interview. Use your ECSI PIN; the school code to use is F5. If you need your PIN number, please call ECSI at 1-888-549-3274.

If the information that you have dropped below 6 credits is erroneous, please contact our Perkins Loan coordinator immediately.

If the exit interview is not completed as required, your Queens College records will be placed on hold. Whether or not you complete the required exit interview, your loan will be considered in out-of-school status in your grace period, and will be in repayment at the end of the grace period.

It may take several business days to remove the hold. Check your CUNY first account. It is not necessary to call the school.
