Welcome to Winter Session

 

January 2 – January 24

Queens College’s three-week Winter Session has something for everyone: current students can earn credits in courses that often fill up quickly in the fall and spring semesters, and new students can get a taste of what college life is all about. Running from January 2–24, Winter Session offers over 70 undergraduate and graduate courses from a variety of disciplines. Online and hybrid classes give you extra flexibility in scheduling your class. ​Students can enroll for a maximum of 4 credits.

How to Apply

QC and CUNY students can register directly through CUNYfirst. CUNY students will need to file an e-Permit before registering.

Step 1  Find a Class:
Explore our Winter Session courses
Note: Select the Spring and filter by Session = Winter.

Look through our course list and find the ones that interest you. For a complete description of prerequisites and course descriptions, consult our college bulletins.

Step 2: Apply
Visiting students who are not enrolled at QC or another CUNY campus must complete the Visiting Student Application.

Step 3: Claim your CUNYfirst account
Once your visiting student application is accepted, claim your CUNYfirst account. CUNYfirst is an online registration system for managing your courses and checking your grades. Detailed instructions about CUNYfirst will be emailed to you.

Step 4: Register
Register for your Winter Session course through CUNYfirst.
Check back for exact dates.

Tuition

Undergraduate: A $65 nonrefundable application fee will be added to your tuition when you register.
Graduate: A $125 nonrefundable application fee will be added to your tuition when you register.​
