Advanced study and research are important to QC’s mission. More than two dozen departments—representing all four academic divisions—award graduate degrees: Master of Arts, Master of Arts in Liberal Studies, Master of Arts in Social Sciences, Master of Arts in Teaching, Master of Fine Arts, Master of Library Science, Master of Science, and Master of Science in Education. Scholarships are available for some programs. Visit the graduate division’s Welcome page for more information. QC also has a wide range of certificate and advanced certificate programs. Doctor of Musical Arts, Doctor of Social Work, and PhD degrees are offered through 20 doctoral programs based at CUNY’s Graduate Center in Manhattan.
