CEREMONY TO INSTALL THE THIRD POET LAUREATE OF QUEENS

FLUSHING, NEW YORK, April 21, 2004 – Queens Borough President Helen Marshall will announce and introduce the new Poet Laureate of Queens. Seventy-five applications were received for this honorary, three-year position. The search was coordinated by Queens College.

This event is sponsored by the Borough President of Queens and the Friends of Queens College Library.
