Now in its fourth season, the Hot Jazz/Cool Garden outdoor series is held each summer in the Armstrong Garden at LAHM.  The musical extravaganza showcases up-and-coming traditional jazz bands that play the musical sounds of Louis Armstrong. On Saturday, July 30, the series will feature Gordon Au & The Grand Street Stompers. The performance begins at 2 PM.

The Grand Street Stompers
are a swinging hot jazz band led by fresh-from-New Orleans trumpeter Gordon Au. With one foot stomping in vintage tradition and the other in modern style, they delight swing dancers and music lovers alike with everything from show tunes and Louis Armstrong hits to exciting originals, classical covers, and Disney and movie themes.

Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for seniors over 65, students and children.
Group rate for eight or more is $6. Children under four years old are free. All ticket prices include a guided tour of the museum that can be taken before or after the concert.
