Gail A. Grimmett, Senior VP, New York, Delta Airlines, Will Explore Investing in the Shared Future of Delta & NYC at March 18 Business Forum

-- Grimmett Has Been Named One of Crain’s New York Business’s
“50 Most Powerful Women in New York” Since 2013  --

Presentation by Gail Grimmett, Senior Vice President, New York, Delta Air Lines, on “Delta Air Lines and New York: Investing in Our Future Together,” with an audience Q&A session to follow. Breakfast will be served.

Background:
As a senior vice president for Delta Air Lines, Gail A. Grimmett is charged with developing and achieving Delta’s key strategic objectives for New York State.  She oversees the financial performance of all New York routes and all commercial functions for Delta in the state, including marketing, commercial sales, sponsorships, community relations, and the customer experience at airports. Over the last six years, Grimmett spearheaded a $1.4-billion terminal redevelopment program at JFK Airport and presided over the largest hub expansion in 40 years at LaGuardia Airport.
 
Grimmett serves as New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s appointee on both the New York State Tourism Board and the New York City Regional Economic Development Council. Since 2013, she has continued to be named one of the “50 Most Powerful Women in New York” by Crain’s New York Business

Launched in 2005, the QC Business Forum brings together the business community, local government, academia, and students to provide an opportunity for town and gown to interact. Influential leaders in a number of fields serve as keynote speakers at its breakfast and lunchtime lectures, touching on issues vital to the local business community.
