QUEENS COLLEGE CHORAL SOCIETY TO HOLD AUDITIONS

FOR ITS FALL PRESENTATION OF BEETHOVEN’S NINTH SYMPHONY


FLUSHING, NY, August 7, 2008—The  Queens College Choral Society (QCCS) is seeking new members for its fall concert season, which will include Beethoven’s beloved Ninth Symphony and Bach’s Cantata 122, Das neugeborene Kindelein.

Auditions for new members will take place on the following Wednesdays:  

August 27 from 7 – 9 pm
September 3, 10 and 17 from 6:30 – 7:30 pm  

Rehearsals are held from 7:30 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. on Wednesdays at Queens College, and will begin on September 3, 2008. There will be a New Member Welcome Party on Wednesday, September 17.

QCCS is a diverse chorus of women and men; membership includes students and faculty from Queens College, along with members from communities throughout Queens, Manhattan, and Nassau/Suffolk Counties.
