Background: Moderator Floyd Norris has worked for the New York Times since 1998, serving as a member of its editorial board and currently, as chief financial correspondent. He writes a weekly column in the financial section and also blogs about “Notions on High and Low Finance.” Both Norris’ column and blog also appear in the International Herald Tribune. Norris is the former stock market editor for Barron’s National Business and Financial Weekly. He has been cited for his work by the New York Society of Certified Public Accountants, and recognized with awards from the Society of American Business Editors and Writers and the Loeb Foundation.
