Floyd Norris, New York Times Chief Financial Correspondent to Lead March 22 Business Forum on "Is the Economy Really Getting Better?"

--Panelists Include Senior VP for Operations Finance at Time Inc.—the World's Largest Magazine Publisher; an AVP in Monetary Studies for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, and a Fortune 500 Consultant--

WHAT:     Panel discussion on the state of the economy, led by Floyd Norris, New York Times chie financial correspondent. Panelists include Howard Rosen, Senior VP, Group General Manager, Operations Finance of Time Inc.; Robert Rich, Assistant Vice President in the Macroeconomic and Monetary Studies Function at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, and Ardavan Mobasheri, consultant to Fortune 500 companies on economics and macro strategy 

Free and open to the public, but seating is limited. Background: Moderator Floyd Norris has worked for the New York Times since 1998, serving as a member of its editorial board and currently, as chief financial correspondent. He writes a weekly column in the financial section and also blogs about “Notions on High and Low Finance.” Both Norris’ column and blog also appear in the International Herald Tribune. Norris is the former stock market editor for Barron’s National Business and Financial Weekly. He has been cited for his work by the New York Society of Certified Public Accountants, and recognized with awards from the Society of American Business Editors and Writers and the Loeb Foundation.

Launched in 2005, the QC Business Forum brings together the business community, local government, academia, and students to provide an opportunity for town and gown to interact.
