We at the New York Deaf-Blind Collaborative (NYDBC), are thrilled to announce that we have received the grant award for another five years from the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP)!!! The grant cycle is October 1, 2013 - September 30, 2018 and will stay housed at Queens College in Queens, NY. The staff will remain the same with a few small shifts. Clara Berg our Family Specialist will be reducing her time to four days per week and a new Family Specialist, Suzanne Chen, will be stepping in to cover that day. Contact information remains the same - but, keep on the alert for a new and improved NYDBC website!
Generally speaking, the scope of our work will continue, however, based on the mandates within the Request for Applications, the delivery in which Technical Assistance (TA) is provided will shift. See attachments for details.
Thank you for your continued support and collaboration. We could not accomplish the goals set forth on behalf of children with combined hearing and vision loss, their families and providers without this expansive network of talented and dedicated professionals and families.
