GUIDELINES FOR SUBMITTING WORK TO REPROGRAPHICS

To improve the services and efficiencies of Reprographics, the college is establishing some new guidelines, and reminding users of pre-existing guidelines, for the work that comes through that office. Please note the following procedures and time frames for having your work produced in the months ahead.

WINDOW HOURS: 9 AM - 1 PM
(After 1 pm, work may be submitted through the slot in the door.)

PLAN AHEAD-THERE IS NO SAME-DAY SERVICE

All material to be copied (not printed) must be submitted without staples, tape, or three-punch holes- these cause the machines to jam and will be returned.

Fill out the job request form: Print your name, complete on-campus address, and phone number. Indicate whether you will pick up the job or want it delivered through interoffice mail.

Jobs must be signed off by your department chair before being submitted.

ESTIMATED TIME FRAMES
For copying jobs:
Exams: 3 days (No same-day service!)
Course-related materials: 1 week
Other materials (flyers, letters, etc.): 2 weeks

For printing jobs (jobs prepared by Editorial and Design Services)
Two-color jobs: 3-4 weeks*
NCR Forms: 4 weeks*
Invitation packages: 4 weeks* (only blank envelopes provided)
Envelopes and stationery: 6 weeks*
Business cards: 6-8 weeks*

*From the time the job arrives in Reprographics; does not include time needed by Editorial and Design Services

Please note: Priority must always be given to classroom and dated materials, so during periods when there is a heavy volume of these jobs, your job may take longer than the estimate above. Call x 4484 to find out approximately when your job will be ready.

COPYRIGHT: If you wish to reproduce copyrighted material, you must have permission to reprint in writing. No exceptions. Materials sent to Reprographics without such permission will be returned. The guidelines governing the reprinting of copyrighted material were sent to all faculty at the beginning of the fall semester and should be available in all departments.

PLEASE SAVE YOUR ORIGINALS IN CASE YOU NEED TO REPRINT YOUR JOB.
