A year ago, I was simply an accounting major focusing primarily on acing my courses. I was made to attend a mandatory Internship workshop hosted by The Office of Career Development and Internships, and I can honestly say that my life took a turn for the better. The staff at Virginia Frese Hall Room #213 go above and beyond to truly help and support their students. I have learned and accomplished so much in these past two semesters, and I am so glad that I was introduced to such a significant student resource. The Office of Career Development and Internships has helped me perfect my resume, cover letters, and interview skills. I am more confident and prepared than I have ever been in regards to what I need to do to reach the next phase of my career path. I have even landed a summer internship with KPMG, a well known Big Four firm. I owe all my thanks to Career Services and will never forget all their support and assistance. Thank you for putting up with my constant badgering! I highly recommend the entire student body to take advantage of everything that The Office of Career Development and Internships has to offer! |
