Available 24/7, the college’s Web cam is located on the roof of Jefferson Hall and looks west across the campus quad toward the Manhattan skyline. Visible to the right is the Chaney-Goodman-Schwerner Clock Tower, dedicated to the memory of Queens College student Andrew Goodman and fellow civil rights workers James Chaney and Michael Schwerner, who were murdered in Mississippi in 1964. The Web cam was proposed to the Office of Converging Technologies by the campus chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery in January 2005.
