What is ABA at QC?

A drawing depicting the side roof of a building.Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a science of human behavior. Behavior change strategies are used to positively affect the lives of individuals. Behavior Analysts apply the principles of learning, motivation, and behavior analysis to the solution of problems of social significance.
Queens College is home to several programs which offer specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). We offer an Advanced Certificate in ABA, two Master’s degrees with a concentration in ABA and a doctoral program in Learning Processes and Behavior Analysis through CUNY’s Graduate Center. Although the specific aims of each program vary, they are all rooted in the science of behavior analysis.

Student Fellowships

In order to assist students with gaining practical experience and experience hours toward both credentials, we have on-campus opportunities (QC ACES, the Queens College Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities Evidence Based Services) and have partnered with several local human service organizations. NYS Licensure vs. Board Certification
