To meet the demand for specialists, the Graduate School of Library and Information Studies offers certificates in children and young adult services, and in archives, records management, and preservation. Both programs accept qualified paraprofessionals, current master\u2019s students, and those who already have an MLS; paraprofessionals may have to take core courses as a prerequisite for the certificate curriculum.
