Students who have passed the Queens College full-time ELI Final Exam with a certificate do NOT need a TOEFL score in order to apply to CUNY undergraduate and graduate programs that require a minimum TOEFL score of 500. However, the Health Service Center at Queens College recommends that all students be immunized against measles, mumps, and rubella before coming to the United States. If you experience a serious illness or accident, you cannot purchase health insurance after the fact to cover that illness or accident. Traveler’s insurance does not usually cover medical expenses. Costs for health insurance vary. Plans are available by the month, semester, and year.
