Gerasimus Katsan<\/strong>, Associate Professor, Modern Greek and Coordinator of the Modern Greek Program, holds a PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies [Modern Greek, English, Comparative Studies] (Ohio State University, 2003), an MA in Modern Greek (Ohio State University, 1995), and a BA in English (University of Utah, 1991).Research interests include contemporary fiction, postmodernism, and comparative approaches to literature. Before coming to Queens College, Katsan was Senior Lecturer of Modern Greek at Ohio State University, and Lector in Hellenic Studies at Yale University. He has published several reviews and articles, and his book,\u00a0History and Ideology in Greek Postmodernist Fiction,<\/i>\u00a0was published by the Fairleigh Dickinson University Press in 2013.<\/p>\n

His most recent book is the co-edited volume\u00a0Retelling the Past in Contemporary Greek Literature, Film and Popular Culture<\/em>, Lexington, 2019.<\/p>\n
