The STEM-designated degree program with specialization in nutrition offers a sequence of courses that enhance the clinical background of dietitians and nutritionists who work with clients in hospitals, nursing homes, outpatient clinics, community programs, schools, wellness programs, and governmental and privately funded programs. The program offers opportunities for in-depth study through didactic learning, hands-on clinical and field experience, and the development and completion of individual research projects. Students are prepared for careers in nutrition in a wide variety of corporate, hospital, media, and community centers, as well as in other clinical and public health agencies. In addition, the program will prepare students for more advanced study in nutrition.<\/div>\n
To support our full-time working students, the majority of our classes in the program are hybrid (in person and online) and held in the evenings.<\/div>\n
