On October 16, 2008, the Irish Studies Department and the Department of Drama, Theatre & Dance held a special reception to celebrate the opening night of J.M. Synge’s The Playboy of the Western World<\/em>. In attendance were celebrated Irish actor, and QC Artist in Residence for October 2008, Stephen Rea, along with various QC faculty, administration and alumni.<\/p>\n
