Fields of Study:<\/strong> Degrees & Studies<\/strong> Biographical Information:<\/strong><\/p>\n Michael Alampi is a multifaceted musician based in New York City. He holds a Bachelor of Music and LRAM Teaching Diploma from the Royal Academy of Music and Masters degree from Mannes School of Music. Currently in the New York area, Michael freelances on Broadway, studio recordings, orchestras, and concert tours that come through the area. He is a flute chair holder for the Radio City Music Hall Orchestra\u2019s 2024-2025 season.<\/p>\n As an orchestral musician, Michael has played with Aspen Festival Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra of New York, New Jersey Festival Orchestra, Symphony in C, Harlem Chamber Players, American Bach Festival, Long Island Concert Orchestra, Phoenicia International Festival, New England Symphonic Ensemble, Binghamton Philharmonic, Camerata New Jersey, the Arch Sinfonia, Nash Ensemble, World Peace Orchestra and as principal flute with Orquesta Sinf\u00f3nica Freixenet del Encuentro in Spain under maestro Krzysztof Penderecki among others.<\/p>\n He has appeared in many concerts and recitals throughout the United Kingdom, Europe, and North America including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Wigmore Hall, Palacio Festivales, United Theatre, Discovery Time Square and more. In addition to his orchestral pursuits Michael has worked in a diverse range of musical settings in recording and concert with The Lemon Twigs, Angel Vivaldi, Judy Collins, Celtic Woman, the Irish Tenors, and more.<\/p>\n Former prize winner of Yamaha Young Performing Artists Competition and recipient of the Jo Weinburg Award, Michael is an Altus Flutes Performing Artist. He has presented masterclasses and music-based entrepreneurship lectures at University of Arkansas Fort Smith, Stephen F.
