Known for his dynamic energy and versatility with musical genres, Mr. Weber has had the privilege\u00a0of working with some of the most iconic artists in the industry, both on stage and on screen.<\/p>\n<p>\u200bAs a classical violinist and violist, Mr. Weber has performed chamber music collaborations with members of the Orion String Quartet, members of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, and members of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra. He has also appeared with the Latin Grammy-nominated string quartet Cuartetango, the Northeastern Pennsylvania Chamber Music Society, and the Bach Aria Group. Mr. Weber has performed with the Harrisburg Symphony, Hudson Valley Philharmonic, Reading Symphony, Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic, Orchestra Long Island, Haifa Symphony and more. As an orchestral conductor, Mr. Weber has appeared on the Tonight show with Jimmy Fallon with musical guest\/comedian Dana Carvey. He has also guest-conducted for numerous music festivals throughout the United States, conducted for college and pre-college music programs, and has coached the Grammy award-winning New York Youth Symphony.<\/p>\n<p>\u200bBranching into non-classical genres, Mr. Weber has shared the stage with artists including Billy Joel, Taylor Swift, Peter Gabriel, Roger Daltrey, Josh Groban, Father John Misty, Idina Menzel, Sarah McLachlin, Barry Manilow, Johnny Mathis, Tony Bennett, Chaka Khan, Dionne Warwick, Jay Z, Beyonce, Nas, Busta Rhymes, Herbie Hancock, Rufus Reid, Luis Miguel, Questlove and the Roots, Alicia Keys, Corey Glover, Janelle Monae, Eryka Badu, the Mahavishnu Project, and the Trans Siberian Orchestra. Hailed by the Boston Globe as \u201cinspired\u201d for his manipulations of electronics, Jonathan Weber enjoys performing as an electric violinist and violist whenever the opportunity arises. Mr. Weber was a member of the fusion band DBR &amp; The MISSION, which toured nationally and internationally, making appearances\u00a0at the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center (NYC), the Library of Congress in Washington D.C. and the Adelaide Music Festival in Australia. Mr. Weber has also performed\u00a0with Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks, tap dance sensation Savion Glover, and as a\u00a0musical guest of comedian Sarah Silverman in her Carnegie Hall\u00a0debut at the New York Comedy Festival.<\/p>\n<p>\u200bA\u00a0native of New York and an active freelancer, Jonathan Weber has performed in the orchestra pits of nearly twenty Broadway shows, has appeared with the Radio City Orchestra, and has performed in venues ranging\u00a0from Carnegie Hall to Madison Square Garden. Mr. Weber has appeared with musical guests\u00a0on\u00a0television programs including The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Late Show with David Letterman, The Tonight Show with Jimmy. Fallon, The Today Show, Good Morning America, Live with Regis and Kelly, The Rachael Ray Show, Christmas: Live at Rockefeller Center, and PBS Great Performances: Soundstage, and the Macy&#8217;s Thanksgiving Day Parade.\u00a0Mr. Weber has appeared on screen in HBO\u2019s Succession, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Joker, The Greatest Showman, Annie, Sex and the City 2, Mildred Pierce, and Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus. Recording\u00a0credits include\u00a0Lilyhammer: The Score &#8211; Volume 1 with Steven Van Zandt, Boardwalk Empire &#8211; Volume 3 with Elvis Costello, Billy Joel: Live at Shea Stadium, Albert Hammond Jr. &#8220;Como Te Llama&#8221;, Jay Z: Kingdom Come, The Glorias film soundtrack written by\u00a0Elliot Goldenthal, and numerous\u00a0film projects for Ruichi Sakamoto.<\/p>\n<p>\u200bJonathan Weber currently serves as an\u00a0adjunct professor of violin and chamber music at the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College (CUNY). Mr. Weber previously served on the faculty\u00a0of the Pre-College Division of Queens College as Orchestra Director, Chamber Music Coordinator, and founder of a special summer program for young musicians\u00a0that focused on the development of\u00a0versatility\u00a0in\u00a0multiple genres. Mr. Weber has also served on the faculties of the 92nd Street Y, the University of Buffalo (SUNY) Summer Strings Workshop, the New York Summer Music Festival (NYSMF), the Odyssey Chamber Music Festival at the University of Missouri, and the Middlebury Summer Chamber Music Festival in Middlebury, VT.
