He has conducted his doctoral studies at the University of Padova (2005) and Oxford University (2007). His research focuses on two main areas: late antique philosophy and Italian Renaissance utopianism. He is the author of<span>\u00a0<\/span><em>Boethius\u2019<span>\u00a0<\/span><\/em>Consolation of Philosophy<span>\u00a0<\/span><em>as a Product of Late Antiquity<\/em><span>\u00a0<\/span>(2013);<span>\u00a0<\/span><em>Italian Renaissance Utopias: Doni, Patrizi, and Zuccolo<\/em><span>\u00a0<\/span>(2019);<span>\u00a0<\/span><em>Boezio: un pensatore tardoantico e il suo mondo<\/em><span>\u00a0<\/span>(2021); and<span>\u00a0<\/span><em>Ludovico Agostini\u2019s<span>\u00a0<\/span><\/em>Imaginary Republic<em>.
