The outcome she is most interested in is democratic competence, commonly conceptualized as political knowledge, but also cares deeply about a range of other outcomes related to democratic politics.<\/p>\n<p>Kleinberg received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2004, where she majored in communication. After several years working in public relations, she went back to school and received her PhD in Political Science in 2014 from Rutgers University, New Brunswick.
