Our graduates have won Fulbright Awards and Mellon Fellowships to pursue graduate education. They often enter Masters programs in education, business administration, public health, public policy, or public administration while some pursue PhDs in political science. Our department also produces more successful law school graduates than any other at Queens College.<\/p>\n
The range of positions held by our alumni attests to the versatility of a political science degree. Some alumni are executive directors of non-profit organizations, partners in law firms, CEO’s of large corporations, and even elected officials. One of our alumna was a MacArthur Genius Grant winner in 2017. Despite this range, one pursuit that unites most of our alumni is public service: they are determined to give back to their communities and leave the world better than they found it.<\/p>\n
