In January 2024, a group of students studying Planning and Development in Prof. Rafael De Balanzo<\/strong>‘s Economics course visited Barcelona to study the city\u2019s sustainable development model.<\/p>\n

The students attended a presentation by Ramon Canal, Director of Barcelona City Council\u2019s Technical Programming Office, on the localization and monitoring of the progress towards achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations\u2019 Agenda 2030.<\/p>\n

Students and the municipal officers engaged in an interesting debate to compare the challenges and urban policies of New York and Barcelona.
