Working with and learning from two community organizations that have formed community land trusts \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/southbronxunite.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">South Bronx Unite<\/a>, in the New York City borough of the Bronx; and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gescoalition.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GES Coalition<\/a> in the Globeville and Elyria-Swansea neighborhoods of Denver, CO \u2013 they sought to understand how these mechanisms have been implemented to combat environmental injustice, displacement and gentrification.<a href=\"#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=&#8221;1_4&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.16&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][et_pb_image src=&#8221;https:\/\/www.qc.cuny.edu\/academics\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/63\/2022\/03\/Hitting-Home-scaled.jpg&#8221; alt=&#8221;Not sure where next month\u2019s rent is coming from? Their research was included in the Flushing Rezoning Community Alliance\u2019s (FRCA) white paper.
