I specifically aim to: 1) improve methods to analyze transit\u2019s neighborhood impacts; and 2) identify policies and practices to balance equity considerations with sustainable and economic development.<\/p>\n<p>I have authored a number of academic articles focused on transportation planning, neighborhood development and change, and the relationship between these two. My recent work has explored ridership impacts of BRT (<a id=\"OWAf938457c-42b8-376c-6d34-b8ff256508e7\" href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1177\/03611981221085531\" data-auth=\"Verified\" data-linkindex=\"0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1177\/03611981221085531<\/a>), job accessibility in New York City (<a id=\"OWA2ed07fef-41f0-6c47-aa92-e756a6c93cd1\" class=\"x_OWAAutoLink\" href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1080\/24694452.2022.2080041\" data-auth=\"Verified\" data-linkindex=\"1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1080\/24694452.2022.2080041<\/a>), and equitable engagement in transportation planning (<a id=\"OWA340b1df4-defc-b450-5211-0b9ada9a7288\" class=\"x_OWAAutoLink\" href=\"https:\/\/journals.sagepub.com\/doi\/full\/10.1177\/03611981221145131\" data-auth=\"Verified\" data-linkindex=\"2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/journals.sagepub.com\/doi\/full\/10.1177\/03611981221145131<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>In terms of neighborhood development and change, I have recently explored measures to assess gentrification in terms of 1) legalized, recreational marijuana (<a id=\"OWA28cc182c-d6f2-5cd3-959a-273e3563b401\" class=\"x_OWAAutoLink\" href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1177\/00420980231198140\" data-auth=\"Verified\" data-linkindex=\"3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1177\/00420980231198140<\/a>) and 2) predicting \u00a0displacement and location choices due to large-scale transportation infrastructure (<a id=\"OWA5b6b1870-47a5-4c52-036c-5e775422f29a\" class=\"x_OWAAutoLink\" href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1016\/j.cities.2021.103212\" data-auth=\"Verified\" data-linkindex=\"4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1016\/j.cities.2021.103212<\/a>).
