Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff,<\/p>\n

Commencement season is upon us. As announced, Queens College’s 98th<\/sup> Commencement will be celebrated on Thursday, June 2 at 9 am on the Quad. The Baccalaureate Convocation will take place on Tuesday, May 31 at 7 pm in Colden Auditorium. Many departmental events will be held as well, beginning the week of Monday, May 23.<\/p>\n

Campus Access for Graduates and Guests<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Students in compliance* with the CUNY Covid-19 vaccination mandate are permitted to bring two guests<\/u><\/strong> to attend their Queens College ceremonial events. We will be distributing access bracelets to each graduate and their two guests; faculty and staff may also receive bracelets to ease access to campus during the Commencement season. All graduates, guests, faculty and staff attending these events must come to campus to pick up their bracelet in person.<\/strong> These bracelets will grant individuals access to the Queens College campus from May 25-27 and May 31-June 3. As long as you are wearing a bracelet, you will not<\/em> need to tap your QCard or show proof of vaccination to enter campus.<\/p>\n

When picking up the bracelets, students, faculty, and staff must present their QCards. Guests must present photo ID and proof of vaccination (CDC Card, an Excelsior Pass, or other government-issued proof of vaccination documentation) or<\/u><\/strong> a negative PCR test<\/strong> dated within 7 days of the date of campus access.<\/p>\n

Please note: We are happy to be able to provide evening hours, but bracelets will not be distributed on the weekend.<\/u><\/em><\/p>\n
